Bob MacLintock's
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Hi, I'm Bob MacLintock. I've been a cab driver in Halifax,Nova Scotia for 30 years. I like to think that I've seen every square inch of pavement and looked into most of the faces in this sea side city.
'round about 1991 I started up a touring operation to fill the market gap when the 25,000 odd post-secondary students attending our 6 colleges and universities leave for the summer. This has evolved into my main summer activity.
Halifax and Nova Scotia is my adopted home, and I just love it here. The city is a vibrant cosmopolitan centre situated in one of the more beautiful places in the world. We have perhaps the most historical real estate in North America, Nova Scotia being the site of the first European settlement and Halifax the first naval dockyard on the continent.
Take a look through my site. I offer a number of prepared tours and of course can customise to your desires. If you would like me to show you around drop me an e-mail (advance notice is always good) or contact me when you get here.
If you would like me to greet you at the airport, train or bus station let me know in advance and I'll give you a brief orientation to the area enroute to your destination.
Need transportation out of the city? You can't beat the comfort or safety of a Benz.
