Peggy's Cove Tour

reservations, therefore the 3 hour Peggy's Cove tour cannot be booked in

This is a lovely little tour for those who want
to get a quick feel for the coast and the Maritime way of life. I take
you out of the city by one route and bring you back by another, so you
get a dose of Halifax to boot! On our way out to Peggy's we veer off the
main road into two little fishing communities. Ample time is provided for
soaking in the salt air at the cove before we return along the St.Margaret's
Bay side of the peninsula. This trip home is particularly nice at sunset.

Peggy's Cove - Blandford Peninsula -Mahone Bay
- Lunenburg
This is a longer trip - 6 hours - but it is one
of my favourite drives. For sheer sea- side splendour this can't be beat.
We take in the ever popular Peggy's Cove before going around the St.Margret's
Bay. At Hubbards we turn left and go around the Blandford Peninsula,
through fishing villages like Northwest
Cove and the resort town of the yachting crowd at Chester.
We continue along the #3 Highway through the Town of Mahone
Bay before entering the World Heritage Sight that is the Town of Lunenburg.
If you want a glimpse of what life was like here a hundred years or more,
then Lunenburg is where you want to be. There are many fine restaurants
to satisfy any appetite and budget along the way, or, give me advance notice
and I'll prepare a picnic lunch you'll not soon forget.
